Can any one help me run Sims2 ?

I downloaded it with wine, and when I start it up the screen gets weird.
What's wrong?

According to appdb this game is garbage. you can try to run the game with setting wines desktop.

I think it's rated that, because it can't run >_<

at least Quake4 is said to work xD
