photoshop cs4?

I have been trying to install photoshop CS4 through wine, without any success. I saw on Wine HQ that some people managed to get it working well with wine tricks installed.

I have winetricks installed but still can't get it to work...

Any one have any ideas?

Well for one CS3 isn't even 100% working and CS4 just more recently came out. So its probably gonna be a while.

Hi, I have followed this guide (http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=14318&iTestingId=39845) and have succesfully installed it and got it working on 9.04

Hi, I've tried to install Photoshop CS4 Extended with the method in the guide above, but I can't get it to install, does it only work with the regular Photoshop? I just get a generic error. Any ideas? What can I do to get some more information as to what is wrong? (I'm brand new to Linux) Thanks in advance!

UPDATE:
After doing some research I was able to finally get it installed. However, when I try to start it, it hangs at the splash screen, any ideas? I have screen shots of the errors.

Hmmmm, I would have to say wait and use GIMP for now they are alot alike or get ArtRage2.5 its really nice. Sorry that I dont have an answer...

I tried GIMP, I use Photoshop a lot so it's hard to get used to anything else. As far as I've heard the splash screen hanging is a known bug with a workaround, I'm just trying to figure out what it is... Thanks anyway! :-)
