I guess the PCLinuxOS site is down so I'll post here.

So I've installed the Gens emulator for the kids and it seems to be alright... Made a shortcut to the desktop and everything. It works as far as I know (played some games).

Set the settings to fill the screen, stretch, and other thing.

I close the program and come back to it and... my settings are gone? I know that in Ubuntu's Gens package (maintained on the forums) the settings stick after closing, but it doesn't seem like it here?

I used the .rpm from the Gens website... How do I make the settings stick?

I've you've been around in the pclinuxos forums for a bit, you should know that they don't suggest that you install packages from outside of the repositories.

do you know where the settings file is located?

I don't think Gens is in their repositories...

Not sure where the settings are. All directories point to somewhere like /home/(my name)/.gens/ though.

There is probably a config file in /.gens/. Try finding the right file and edit it with a text editor manually.
