So all was well before I changed my monitors screen res, I changed the res and now I get the black saying "Out of range" so I rebooted into recover mode and chose "try to repair x" or something like that. So now I am able to boot to the desktop but now I am only able to use 800 x 600.
My default res is 1360 x 768 so I thought maybe I needed to reinstall nvidia drivers so I tried to with "Hardware Drivers" like I did before but nothing happens this way worked before can someone please tell me what to do as you can tell I am new to ubuntu. thanks.
