Half Life 2 installation problem.

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to install HL² using wine (last version). Everything seems to go fine but, it looks like wine cannot handle the license agreement validation method.

But I do need to specify that I agree with it in order to click on the next button.

Looks like wine cannot detect that I've already read the license, and the radio box 'yes I wanna install your stuff' keeps being unavailable.

Here is the output from the term :

Pay attention that the version I'm trying to install is the French one. Is the US license working this way too?

To install Half Life 2 i would recommend using 'Cedega'. It works very well with Half Life 2 and Steam. Im not sure if Steam runs well in Wine.

've heard about cedega, but i ain't got money to buy it...

Steam runs fine for me... My problem is all about installing HL²

You can get Cedega free, if you build it from scratch.
