I have been trying to setup an ARP poison attack on my roommates computer using Ettercap. I follow the directions found HERE (http://openmaniak.com/ettercap_arp.php) but it never seems to work.
EX: when he visits a page that i remapped in the /usr/share/ettercap/etter.dns file it still will not redirect the DNS to the specified IP even though the "chk_poison" plugin says its a success.
Any ideas? could it be my wireless card? Intel 4765ABGN (i think thats the numbers) any and all help is greatly appreciated.
