So I tried to follow the linked instructions here

to undervolt my CPU on my laptop, however now I have no frequency scaling available and whatever patch I applied to the acpi module in the kernel didnt work at all. My question is how do I get back my original settings in the kernel so that I can get roll back whatever changes I made and restore the kernel to how it used to be without erasing my whole system? Please help, my laptop is a little warm
