Hi,

Iam trying to install Mythbuntu-8.10-alternate.iso from a usb-stick. I have replaced the initrd.gz and vmlinuz from hd-media
to get the installer to find the iso (according to https://help.ubuntu.com/community/UbuntuServerFlashDriveInstaller). But now the installer says "no matching kernel modules were find". Has anyone hade this problem?

Same as Ubuntu 8.10, 2.6.27

If you have a regular Ubuntu 8.10 installation somewhere you could try USB Key Creator

I pose my question here since your question is most similar to my question maybe some one will be able to help us both. I am using 8.10 64 bit can I use mythbuntu with Hauppage 150 PVR?

I think when I upgraded from the earlier version I may have some breaks so I am thinking I will do a clean install this weekend):P
