is there a site to tell you how far each app that is on the 5.10 cd will update to?
will it update to the "snapshot" thats on www.distrowatch.com? i'm just wondering how far and stable (dont need bleeding edge) apps will update to..
hope i made my question clear..and this is the right place to post it..
thanks in advance

5.10 is stable. The only updates available are either security related or bug fixes. The only exception to this is the Backports project which ports new things from the development version that is still in the works and which a person has to knowingly choose to download from.

Hope that helps!

The versions get frozen about two months (or so) before release. So, if you are following Dapper, for example, anything in the Dapper repos will not really be updated after March (the roadmap is posted on the ubuntu linux site)
