ATi drivers

I was wondering if there were any drivers for the ATi 9600SE card in the sources, so I could just simply run the apt-get command. I was wondering because none of my pals seem to know and I was going to ask before I went shooting from the hip and installed the ones on their website

Yes there is. The ATI driver installation is explained in the getting started guide. Works just fine.

Ok, thanks brother. Well, I followed that and when I restarted, I got the error about my .ICEAuthority. I remembered a topic in the main Ubuntu forum about this and was easily fixed

How do you fix that error?

I want to install the drivers and don't have another computer to access if I get the error.
