I am successfully running vnc4server on my office computer (great software BTW!). Ideally, I'd like to be able to start a session remotely via VNC and then continue to use the session when I'm on the office computer. Is there any way to do this? How about the reverse: starting a session on the desktop and then attaching to it via VNC?

Also, the icons and graphics look different in a VNC session on vncserver than they do in a local session. Does anyone have clues on how to fix that? I used to, in an earlier version of vncserver, get error messages about the system not being able to read my gnome settings.
