hi everyone,

i tried to install madwifi because the signal on my eeepc 900 was very weak.

i followed this DIY (which i cannot find anymore) and attempted to install madwifi. however, i think i did something wrong (or modified something) and now i get no wireless nor wired connections.

can someone walk me through on how to:

1. repair and rebuild my connection then,
2. successfully install madwifi

i am running ubuntu hardy on a eee pc 900 with built in wireless. thanks in advance.

Are you sure that your wireless card is supported by the madwifi drivers?

i am pretty sure it is, however, at this point, i just want to be able to restore back to my original config. can you tell me how to do that? do i need to use the liveCD?
