Do i have to unmount my hard disk before repartitioning?:confused:

Short answer?

Yes, you need to unmount it - you can't modify a mounted partition.

Are you sure? I'm saying unmount the partition Linux runs (i'm editing my partition on Linux too).:confused:

Yes, I'm sure. You can't modify a mounted partition and if you could you probably wouldn't like the results too much ;)

Between this and your other thread you need a gparted live CD - you can get one here -

No, it is not safe to unmount the partition. As has been mentioned earlier, burn a gparted live CD and boot from that.
