OK guys. So I'll admit, I'm kinda big on the whole torrenting thing. And just don't like the RIAA and other such organizations.
So I've done my research on how to conceal my torrenting-ness. Be a bit more safer.
So I've come to the conclusion that, a ssh socks5 proxy tunnel is my best bet.
My main issue is, I can't for the life of me find a proxy that supports a ssh tunnel. And the ones I have found cost money. So does anyone know of a ssh proxy that is free? (the server can't be in US or UK)
If anyone has any suggestions on how else I could conceal my IP address please do tell. thanks.

Hmm, kind of ulterior motives if you ask me.
Cant you run a ssh server from work or from a university?

wellllllllll I may have ulterior motives lol. But really. where else would i go for things like this? ssh pretty much means linux. Or mac i think?
and what else would people use a ssh socks5 proxy for? other than to hide their ip? Or i guess getting around firewalls.
but anyway. I was hoping more of a server out of country you know? So riaa can't just be like "give me the logs" and yea.
And as for setting up one myself, that kinda defeats the purpose doesn't it?

rootshell.be gives free shells with ssh tunneling enabled however you will never find a quality free ssh tunnel service. I'm using ssh tunnels daily and the best one so far was aceshell which is located in UK and approx $3 per month

I don't think proxies work well for torrents. Peers won't be able to connect to you. Any free proxy service will be very slow, and probably wouldn't allow P2P traffic.

Web surfing over a proxy is one thing but you're going to run torrents over it? If someone is nice enough to let you use their bandwidth for surfing and you start hogging their bandwidth with torrents is a quick way to get yourself blocked from the proxy.
You're basically asking for help hiding you while you break the law.

What you're asking for is a way to hide the fact you're breaking the law. This clearly isn't supported on the forums.
