I was suprised to find out that Intrepid Ibex doesn't detect my Linksys WUSB 11 v 2.6 anymore and previous Ubuntu versions did, is there a to get it to work in 8.10?

Any help would be appreciated.

I got my Linksys WUS54BGC working after many hours...Do you see your wireless apdapter showing up with you issue the "iwconfig" command?

You might want to google "[your wireless adapter model] + Intrepid + 8.10".

No I didn't I just gave up and went back to using 8.04. Guess what having the same problem again with the newer versions of Ubuntu, it worked in 9.04 and now it won't work in 9.10 and in the RC version of 10.04.
It's a shame looks the only place I will be using 9.10 or 10.04 only on my main desktop, since it wont work with my laptop or my other wirelessly connected desktops.
Hey Ubuntu developer listen up, STOP MESSING WITH THE WIRELESS CONFIGURATIONS! I'm not buying a new wireless device everytime, especially when the Linksys Wusb 11 v2.6 device is on your list of compatible hardware and is supposed to work out of the box. I get tired of not connecting and the endless loop of entering my keyring password.
