hey i installed ubuntu just do days back and i don't know how to configure the internet connection....i m using 8.04 and bsnl broadband...can u please help me out...

What are your current results? I presume it's not working...

when you were on windows , did you require a dialer to connect to the internet?? or did internet work as soon as you switched on your modem.. go to the terminal and type ifconfig and post output
