I'm new to ubuntu, so please bear with me.
Yesterday I accidentally remove the network manager app from the panel and after rebooting, it looks completely different. I added the Network Connection applet back on the panel, but it doesn't show the available connections or anything like it used to. Did I add the wrong app or is something else wrong. As of now it only shows the connection properties for my current connection. Also, is there a better manager I could use that has a applet on the panel? I heard about wicd, but I don't know how to set it up.
Thanks!
