I know that video/DVD playback problems have been covered alot in this forum and in others, but I haven't found a solution yet.

I have a Dell Inspiron 9100 laptop with a ATI Radeon mobility 9800 video card in it. DVD playback is fine (full screen or windowed) as long as I stick with the default video driver, however if I enable the restricted ATI driver DVD playback in full screen it terribly slow. DMA is enabled for both my DVD drive and my HDD, and I have installed all of the necessary pieces to enable DVD playback. Is there some tweak for this card/laptop I need to do? Thanks for the help. I really appreciate the Ubuntu community.
