I LOVE GTKWifi!

I've installed it on my new laptop, though and I've forgotten how I got the menu applet to have a graphical indicator. Somehow I had made it look like the airport indicator in osx--I think it might have been part of a theme. Does anyone know how to do that? Its nice cause it takes up less bar and looks pretty good.

Thanks!

It's most likely theme dependent and you can replace certain theme icons manually, so look in GTKWifi's list of installed files in Synaptic and/or your selected theme folder to figure out which icons are used and replace them. You can also override specific theme elements by specifying them in a ~/.gtkrc-2.0 file, so you may be able to specify which icons you want used for GTKWifi instead of the current ones in your theme; do a google search on this.

That's what I needed to know! I just thought it was odd since by default it looks like GTK Wifi doesn't have any graphical component at all. For recognized cards this really should be just essential laptop software!
