In the top right i click that network icon and the Wireless Networks is greyed out/blocked, im using ath0 and when i type iwconfig it finds my wireless devices so why cant i click Wireless Networks?
Fixed:
It was the user permissions i did not have permissions to use wireless and ethernet networks - how stupid... i ticked the box and it worked
