hi everyone, i wondered if there are any books i should buy now that my friend got me a job as a technology consultant in a small office, the problem is that i am not certified or anything, im in allot of trouble here but i wanna keep the 13.50$ dollar an hour job.
i am well versed technologically but i dont know if i can really do the job professionally, i still dont know if they want me to manage their network but i guess they expect that kind of knowledge in particular.
what do you guys think?

These guys will be your best friends: http://www.oreilly.com/
Without knowing more from you I can't make any further recommendation...but they probably have a book or several covering anything you would need that is well-written, clear, understandable and accurate.

learn to act, I recommend using the most technical jargon you can find and repeating it over and over, also blame MS security holes for anything that may go wrong ("coffee makers broken? damn MS why don't they get their act together")
