Hi, i have a mac power book G3 (ppc) and I've read all the guides about what to do, but i cant get my mac to boot xubuntu from the cd, it just keeps showing the mac OS 9.2 startup screen and then turns on the computer normally.
Ive held down the c button AND the d button. And it doesnt boot. Anyone else have this problem and can help?

There may be two problems:-
One that the CD is not bootable
second the CD is only for intel not for the PPC.

1st, im sure that all the iso's are bootable
2nd i downloaded the ppc version of the iso. :lolflag:

To boot your computer from the Installer CD, you need to press and hold down at start up C.
If you have still problems, try holding down the option key. Does your computer detect a Linux CD?
