Hi!

I discovered the other day the power of the zenity command in Ubuntu(Gnome) scripts. I'm just curious if this kind of commands are able (also on command line and with that outstanding simple use) in Mac OS X and Windows, or you always have to check libraries / GUI toolkits in order to get basic GUI components there.

Thanks!

Well, there's AutoIt on Windows, if that's the kind of tool you're looking for. There's also Microsoft's PowerShell. Dunno about the Mac, though.

Python + easygui (http://easygui.sourceforge.net/)? It's ugly Tk, though.

I recently ported Zenity to Windows (win32).
