Hello there, my graphic card is nvidia

so xrandr output:

Screen 0: minimum 1280 x 800, current 1280 x 800, maximum 1280 x 800

So that is, I need add 800x600 because I need to put a presentation of openoffice to the external output of the lap.

So what I need to add?

try to edit file /etc/X11/xorg.conf

you can add the resolution you want in SubSection "Display" -> Modes.
it should looked like this:

Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Device "Intel 82810E"
Monitor "Generic Monitor"
DefaultDepth 24
SubSection "Display"
Depth 16
Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
SubSection "Display"
Depth 24
Modes "1024x768" "800x600" "640x480"
EndSubSection
EndSection
